And for Weight Watchers Good Health Guidelines, here's how I did:
Today my number of blog readers surpassed the 2500 mark. This is incredible for a few reasons:
In fact, many other people have noticed it too - one of my co-workers told me she almost didn't recognize me because I "looked like a toothpick" walking towards her. And another said I was "wasting away". I assure you I am not that thin, but those few pounds really do make a huge difference in my body. In fact, I'm back in my smallest skirts ever and things I wore a month ago are falling off me!
But this morning when I weighed in, I saw a number that I have not seen since September 2007: 145.2! One forty five (point two)! Holy crap! That's amazing!!! See the tinyness for yourself!

And for Weight Watchers Good Health Guidelines, here's how I did:
- Activity: Check!
- Water: Check! (At last count, I had 20 glasses of water this day!)
- Healthy Oils: Check! I had only 2 oil servings (sesame and coconut). Though they are not in the "WW healthy oils" list, I still think this is ok.
- Fruits & Veggies: Check!
- Vitamins: Check!
- Dairy: Check! (Soy milk, soy yogurt and supplement)
- Whole Grains: Check! (Thanks to my Bob's hot cereal)
- Protein: Check! (The soyrizo and Tofurky slices count towards my protein)
Now for some truly incredible milestones-
Today my number of blog readers surpassed the 2500 mark. This is incredible for a few reasons:
- I never in my wildest dreams imagined I'd have so many readers.
- A year ago, I was blown away when I hit the 500 mark. I can't believe that in a year's time the number has quintupled!
- I just hit the 2000 mark before New Year's - so in one month, that number jumped by 500, or 25% in one month! Incredible! Thank you all for reading and referring me to others!
In fact, many other people have noticed it too - one of my co-workers told me she almost didn't recognize me because I "looked like a toothpick" walking towards her. And another said I was "wasting away". I assure you I am not that thin, but those few pounds really do make a huge difference in my body. And here is a snapshot of a spreadsheet I use to keep track of my weight on the Weight Watchers scale that I use. It measures more than just weight, as you will see below. I used to weigh in every Saturday morning but stopped for a while. I resumed this at the end of last year and intend to record my stats weekly this year. The green highlighted cells represent the lowest numbers ever for that category:

Congrats to the tiny girl. I am so proud of your hard work! You are a great motivator and give me such great ideas!!!

ReplyDeleteChrissie- They are cut out letters that spell my name (of course!) except the L is not hanging up - I was one tiny clothespin short :(
ReplyDeleteCongrats on all accounts! Definitely inspiring :-) May I ask what brand of hot rollers you use? I'm on the hunt for some and the reviews on Amazon are random and inconsistent.
ReplyDeleteThanks :-)
Hey Sheryl:
ReplyDeleteI normal email instead of comment but oh. my. word. you are tiny!!
xoxo
Sheryl,
ReplyDeleteI learned on the WW boards that 100= 1 activity point. makes sense since it's pretty much 50 = 1 food point, roughly of course. I've never had a leader say that. I should ask. But that's what I've been doing. I think it's a great guideline. I do notice the the eTools calculate activity points terribly. Just food for thought.
Way to go! And those waters with lemon slices look amazing! I am craving a water like that right now! Good going on the plan!!
ReplyDeleteDon't disappear, little one!
ReplyDeleteThat is just amazing!! You look great!
ReplyDeleteAll of your hard work is paying off. You look great. Congrats on your milestones.
ReplyDeleteCONGRATULATIONS!!! That is awesome, chicadee. I hope you keep at it. It's wonderful to be able to celebrate along with you.
ReplyDeleteI love reading all your blogs, but this is the first time I've commented.
I wanted to let you know that coconut oil should totally count as a WW healthy oil, even if it's not on the list. It has tons of healthful properties. It's even good for skin and hair use, if you want. (I don't use it for beauty fun, but my mum does.)
Continue to be fabulous.
